Technical Skills Needed:

• Expert knowledge of CakePHP
• 2+ years experience in web application development
• 2+ years experience in object-oriented analysis and design
• Familiarity with the Model-View-Controller pattern
• Experience with XHTML, XML, HTML 4/5, CSS 2/3, JavaScript and Ajax
• Experience with database design and implementation
• Experience with unit tests

Other Requirements:

QA Tester

The Cake Development Corporation is seeking a talented QA Tester to help us in our internal QA and testing procedures to maximize our client satisfaction.

Position Details:

• Remote working environment with an international team and clients

Responsibilities:

• Work with the development team to determine project testing requirements
• Develop and execute test outlines for pre-release testing
• Provide recommendations to the development team based on test results and user experience
• Develop a strong understanding of QA terminology, best practices and tools, specially for web based and mobile
• Ensure all the requirements are met and the user experience is awesome before the project is delivered

Requirements:

• 1+ years of relevant QA and unit testing experience
• Experience writing technical specifications and functional analysis
• Experience with automated testing tools and performance benchmarks
• Ability to clearly communicate test results and browser behavior

The Project Manager will provide superb customer service, representing client needs and goals while working closely with lead developers to ensure results.

• Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal direction
