Larry E. Masters
President & CakePHP Founder
CakeDC Founder and President Larry Masters founded the CakePHP project in May 2005, and has served as a Lead Developer ever since. He has been involved in Open Source development for many years, dating back to his first contributions made to a popular PHP shopping cart, and as recently as 2004, prior to developing the CakePHP framework and starting the Cake Software Foundation, he was a core developer for a popular PHP content management system. He has 22 years experience in software development, system administration, and database design. He is a veteran of Desert Shield and Desert Storm where he was an Engineer in the United States Marine Corps. His passion for excellence is shown in the code he writes and time dedicated to the CakePHP framework development over the past 5 years.

James Watts
Internal Manager & PHP/JavaScript Specialist
Prior to joining CakeDC, James Watts has had a long track record in the open source community, most notably as the creator and lead developer of the nano JavaScript framework, and as a contributor to the Mozilla Foundation. He is also a core member and community manager of CakePHP for the Cake Software Foundation. He has also authored various technical specifications, such as the Extended Hypertext Transfer Protocol (XHTTP), X-Messages, the Documentation Mark-up Language (DocML) and Argument Based Access Control (ABAC). He's worked with CakePHP since 2009 and, as a professional object-oriented PHP and JavaScript programmer, has had extensive experience in MVC and SOA environments in the enterprise sector, with expert skills in architecture and API design, as well as front-end development.
Jorge Gonzalez
Project Manager & Marketing Specialist
Before joining CakeDC, Jorge Gonzalez has had a wide experience in different positions, from development to consulting and management, allowing him to quickly understand client problems and provide effective solutions. He loves to code and support his teammates. He started using CakePHP many years ago, and never turned back, applying the framework to several different projects and domains, specially the Hospitality and Tourism sector, where he's been working for 7 years before coming to the company.
Florian Krämer
Project Manager
After completing his secondary education, Florian Krämer began his career into database development and design. With great skill, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for the CakePHP framework, Florian has contributed a multitude of new, challenging implementations to CakeDC's long list of successes. Prior to joining the CakeDC team, Florian worked as a freelance developer, during which time he developed his expertise in database design, project planning, and project management.
Yelitza Del Valle Parra
QA Manager
Yelitza Parra has a major in computer science, with more than 7 years of experience in software development with a variety of technologies. She's also a veteran in user experience and QA testing. With a profound interest for agile methologies and their application, she joined CakeDC to introduce a high level testing that integrates with a CakePHP development team.
Yevgeny Tomenko

Yevgeny Tomenko, project expert and developer, is an orderly thinker whose passions for information organization and web development merge at CakeDC. With nearly 10 years of experience -- 4 as a teacher of functional programming and web development -- Yevgeny feels that CakePHP is the development "philosophy" that helps him make the world a simpler place to live. As a part of the Cake development team, Yevgeny uses his skills in parallel computing, fuzzy logic, web application development and database optimization to build and enhance client projects to great short- and long-term benefit.
Alejandro José Ibarra
CakePHP Developer
Alejandro Ibarra has 5 years of dedicated experience using the CakePHP framework, and 8 years programming experience using web-based and desktop technologies. He has developed numerous applications for a variety of high profile clients, and also worked as a consultant for Avon Cosmetics providing business modelling and creating their web applications. He takes pride writing solid, quality code, as well as developing high stardard results, which are just some of the many reasons he makes such a great member of the CakeDC team.
Vinícius Krolow
CakePHP Developer
Vinícius Krolow has a degree in analysis and development of software, and a post graduation in project management. With more than 8 years of experience in software development he has already developed several web applications for high profile customers, such as Siemens, Audi, Allianz, Sky and others. He has been using the CakePHP framework for over 6 years now, and is constantly improving his techniques in order to accomplish the needs of the client. Before joining CakeDC, he worked as the head of a backend team, where he led projects through to completion.
Guillermo Mansilla
CakePHP Developer
Guillermo Mansilla is a skilled networking engineer, and also holds a Master in Business Administration. He has been actively developing web applications using CakePHP since 2005. Part of his work experience before joining CakeDC includes working as a SAP Business One Consultant, and also as a telecommunications infrastructure controller using Cisco Technologies.
Lubomír Štork
CakePHP Developer
Lubomír Štork is an experienced software and database architect, who brings nearly 20 years of experience and an eye for high-quality code to CakeDC. He started his career as an Engineer of Automated Command and Homing Devices, in the Army of the Czech Republic, and also as a veteran of United Nations peacekeeping missions in territory of the former Yugoslavia. After that he worked in several IT positions in the civil services. CakePHP is his daily job, as well as his hobby since 2005.
